Airport terminals are no longer just a transit place for people on air travel. At least that is not true for Changi Airport terminal 3. Being the newest Changi Airport terminal, operational since January 2008, it is packed with so many things to do and see that you can spend the whole day there. SGTOP10 reveals the 10 things you can do at Terminal 3 while you wait for your boarding gate to open!!
Charge Me Up

Mobile phone running out of battery? Fear no more… there is a charging station into which users can plug their devices for a quick charge. Just make sure your mobile phone is a model that is popular. They don’t support some XXX or YYY brands. You know which brands I’m referring to.
.
Mr Postman

Need to send that cute little post card to your loved ones while you are on transit? We have a mobile post office in the terminal!
.
Spoilt for Choices

There are lots of food choices, even at 4 am in the morning! Thai, Fast Food, French, Asian, American… the list goes on. Did you know there is a Hard Rock Café inside Terminal 3 as well?
.
One and only

Ferarri and Fifa World Cup 2010 stores are 2 unique retail outlets inside the terminal. What better place to get souvenirs and gifts for your friends than in these shops! The FIFA 2010 store in Terminal 3 is the first official store out of South Africa. You get the world cup merchandise here long before any other countries have the items. The Ferrari retail outlet is the first outside of Europe, but the price tags in the store will shock some of the travel customers.
.
Z Monsters are everywhere

Sure there are frequent flyer lounges which provide comfortable resting spaces in many international airports. In terminal 3, comfortable resting space is available everywhere!
.
Back to Mother nature in the terminal 3.

There are lots of tropical plants in the transit area and there is also a Koi pond behind the Toast Box eatery. Being so close to flora and fauna makes people feel so… R-E-L-A-X-E-D.
.
Have a break, watch a movie

Lots of plasma screens and LCD TVs with a wide variety of cable channels are available for viewing while on transit. You can sludge in one of the sofas and catch your favourite football club in action.
.
Internet stations
Didn’t bring your laptop? No worries, you can use the internet stations to check your mail and do some web surfing while waiting for your flight. The best thing is, it is free!
.
Unique landscape design
Check out the tropical landscape at the arrival hall, a place where you would never expect to find trees. Passengers will be greeted by a “”Green Wall”" – a five storey vertical garden that spans 300m across the main building. While waiting for your luggage at the arrival hall, you will also be treated to the sound of four cascading waterfalls.
.
The toilets!!!

Don’t miss out on the toilets. I am super impressed by the space, the design and the CLEANLINESS. Yes I cannot stress how much I love the toilets. There is 1 cleaner assigned to each toilet and they are forever cleaning the toilets! While doing your business, you get a view of the runway too!
