In the last part of our Jurong Bird Park series, we take a look at our 10 year old featured writer’s view on the top 10 things that she liked about the bird park.
The macaws at the entrance
They are noisy but beautiful. You can see wonderful birds without even going into the park.
The beautiful pond outside
It makes you think you are not in the city at all
The pretty pink flamingos
I felt tickled pink when I saw them.
The King of the Skies show
Feel them brush across your head and see the agility and speed these carnivorous birds have
The stubby penguins and puffins
The penguins are standing there like cute toys while the puffins are swimming at great speed
The breathtaking view on the monorail
You can see basically everything from up there, there is even a radio tour guide to help you along, no need to tire yourself from walking, just jump on the monorail and enjoy the view.
Feeding the colourful Lorries (it is a bird, NOT a vehicle)
These birds will do anything just to get some food.
The quiet water playground
It is a peaceful place for adults that have children. Let the kids play and you can spend some quiet time by yourselves.
The Birds and Buddies show
This show has competitions between birds and a lot more. If you miss this, I am so sorry.
Spending time with my family and friends
The bird park is a place where I can spend some family time and have a lot of fun.
