Signboards, you see them everywhere. Signboards come in all shapes and sizes and serve to provide people who see them with important information, usually of an educational or cautionary kind. We found that signboards in the zoo come in many different, notable shapes and sizes too, and some of them are worth spending an extra look. The next time you visit the zoo, why not check out the 10 signboards listed below?
Where did you park your Car?

If you drive to the zoo, the first place you reach will be the carpark. The zoo has ample parking spaces and parking is shared with the Night Safari. Car park charges are $3.90 per entry. Each row of the carpark is identified clearly, in alphabetical order, with each letter representing an animal you can find in the zoo. Can you name all the animals starting from A to Z?
The animals aren’t hungry

You see signboards that carry the above message everywhere in the zoo.
There are fixed feeding times for all the animal exhibits. You can refer here for the timings, and visitors can purchase food on site to feed the animals.
Well, I guessed what we like to eat does not mean that the animals like it too.

ZooPS (Zoo Positioning System)

You will never get lost in the zoo. Maps are located everywhere in the zoo. Does anyone want to organize a treasure hunt in the zoo?
Safety First

If you have been following our zoo series, one of the earlier post on 10 Don’ts in the Zoo indicated that visitors should not trespassed. Safety for zoo visitors is always a priority at the zoo. You will see many signboards that warn visitors not to proceed any further. For you adventurous type, you can try breaking the rules.
Rainforest Kidzworld (New Attraction)

This is one of the latest attractions in the zoo. Targeting kids, the Rainforest Kidzworld Park offers an educational, fun and engaging time with family-focused activities. The zoo management staff has made the effort to place signboards, like the one below, to direct visitors to the theme park. Each signboard was designed with a lot of thought.
Innovative Directional Signboards

If you are hunting one specific animal exhibit to visit, the innovative signboards will definitely help you. Situated around the zoo at pathway junctions, the signboards come in 3 different languages. If you can’t read those languages, you will probably figure out what it means if you look at the “header”. You will surely reach the animal exhibit in no time.
And the kids in the Rainforest Kidzworld have their own kiddy version of the directional signboards too. Can you identify what each of the following signboard means?
