I do agree Shaw towers is a bit crowded. I was referring to the star bucks at the end of city link, beside 7-eleven.

vaguely remember there's wireles but I think there was very little or no powerpoints cos my laptop died there.

Starbucks at Millenia is good too.

SY,
The starbucks at Citylink issit the one above the MRT station ? The Shaw Towers one like a bit packed and the tables are small lei. I still think Centrepoint is the best. heh

I think i will go give Carls Junior at ECP a try. Do they have free wireless there?

Some of my favourite study places:

1. Starbucks at Citylink and Shaw Towers because the staff are great enough to even chat with you about your academics

2. Coffee Bean at Singapore Expo, although it closes promptly 6pm, the tables and chairs are not kept so you can stay as long as you like ( provided you have transport back)

3. MacDonalds at King Albert Park is a favourite haunt for students. Its almost a mutually agreed thing amongst customers to keep a low volume.

4. Community Centres/Clubs Reading rooms/study rooms if available. they usually charge a small fee though like $12/year e.g. Serangoon CC

5. Carls Junior at East Coast for its free drinks refills and 24 hours opening hours.
