By now you should know what the 2009 NDP theme song is? If you do not, you must have been in hiding. There is no escape, they play it in the malls, the parks, the radio and TV, so much so that I am no longer able to differentiate if the song is being played back subconsciously or on radio.
I recently stumbled upon a different version of this song. It is the national day song you didn’t get to see. By Mr. Brown and the band, electrician – Lekuasimi.
On the 9th of August 2009, Singapore will turn 44 years old. Each year the nation celebrates this special day together in the form of a National Day Parade. Did you know that each year there will be a theme song for the parade? And that these songs are being written and sung by Singaporeans? How many of these classic songs do you remember? Let us turn back the clock and take a look at the NDP theme songs for the past 10 years. Enjoy. Continue reading SGTOP10 Recalls 10 Singapore NDP Theme Songs »
Recently we received feedback from our readers that the messages that we sent out from Facebook Groups has broken links. So we decided to investigate this issue.
The Feedback:
We had a feedback from our readers that the message (like the one below) that we sent out from Facebook group has broken links. Looking at the attached screen shot, it can be easily identified that the highlighted URL is wrong and will never work in any browser.
The Issue:
The embedded link in the email sent via Facebook groups had and extra: “http://www.facebook.com/l/;”. I am sure when Facebook implemented this, they thought that this is an intuitive feature. However it results in the “dead link” as shown.
The Rescue:
Now inorder to resolve this issue, remember to remove/exclude the “http://” when embedding a URL.
I really think that Facebook mechanism is in the case of being too smart. Anyone of you encountered this issue before?

While the design of these booths may be of little importance to the shoppers, they do subconsciously “attract” and increase sales. All tributes go to the creative designers and workers who have worked tirelessly to bring up these booths and add colour to this show.
